We’ve been at the forefront of the UK waste management industry for over 100 years. We take pride in leading by example and helping others to be more sustainable, inspiring businesses to change and supporting the communities in which we operate.

Resourceful, responsible

We aim to be both resourceful and responsible, in our efforts to lessen the impact of waste on the environment and reduce our own impact too. We’ve already reduced our carbon emissions by 70% since 2002 and have a clear path to achieve net zero by 2050.

Enabling the circular economy

We work in partnership with organisations across the UK to drive change, sharing our expertise so more can participate in the circular economy. As well as collecting waste, we create sustainable strategies for UK organisations to prevent and reduce waste, helping them to redistribute surplus and recycle or recover more.
