The Biffa procurement team works in partnership with our suppliers to strive for improvements & innovations to support sustainable waste management across the UK. The supply management team monitors an external spend in excess of £500m and works closely with business leaders and superb suppliers to source the right products and services efficiently. Working with our supplier partners to achieve the highest standards of responsible sourcing, sustainability and human rights. We aim to continue to stamp out modern slavery, reduce accidents & support our communities. As a supplier to Biffa we need your support to achieve these goals & together we can make a difference.
How to become a registered Biffa supplier
To become registered as a Biffa supplier you need to meet Biffa procurement’s ethical, environmental and health and safety standards. Biffa works closely with registered charities, micro-suppliers and organisations who are current business customers of Biffa Waste Service Ltd to support a UK circular economy. Help us to help you. We have been communicating with our suppliers over the last year to inform you about the changes we are making to the Biffa procurement process. These changes will be in place by the end of 2024 and will impact Purchase Ordering and Invoicing. We have recently issued a communication to all suppliers from supplier.readiness@biffa.co.uk, this is a genuine email sent from Biffa and not spam.
