People in Bins
Biffa works in collaboration with the waste industry, homeless charities, and members of the public to stop people sleeping in bins, which poses a significant health and safety risk. By raising awareness of preventative measures amongst drivers and members of the public, as well as implementing new safe operating procedures, we aim to prevent people from sleeping in bins and to stop any safety incidents from occurring.
Driving Recklessly on Pavements (DRoPs)
Biffa employees and waste operators across the country continue to face the threat of reckless drivers who do not have the courtesy or patience to allow them to perform their duties. Biffa is committed to raising awareness of the social unacceptability of driving recklessly on pavements to help protect the safety of our crews and the public.
