How do our event waste management services work?

We understand waste is not your number one priority – so let us deal with it all for you. We have the scale to support events of all sizes and types, from arts and music to sport and corporate, and can supply containers, equipment and vehicles based on your precise needs.

We make sure containers are placed in strategic locations, encouraging visitors to recycle where possible and reducing waste through segregation. We can also provide toilet, litter picking, tankering and hazardous substance services as part of our event waste management plan if necessary.

Once the event is over, we collect, recover and recycle as much waste as possible through our specialist facilities across the UK. We can recycle plastic bottles, cardboard and paper, glass and drinks cans, and use the food waste to create energy to power homes.

Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games

As the official waste partner, we handled all waste management at this event, making it the first Commonwealth Games with a carbon-neutral legacy.

We were delighted to be trusted as the Official Waste Management and Recycling Provider for Birmingham 2022. Tens of thousands of sports fans produce a lot of waste but, as leading enablers of the UK’s circular economy, we’re proud that we honoured our commitment to sustainably manage, treat and  dispose of waste produced across the 12 days of the Games
