If you are leaving the armed forces within the next 18 months and considering your next career move, apply for Biffa’s one-week work experience programme. You’ll have the opportunity to work within an existing engineering team and get hands on experience.
You will find out what it’s like to work in civilian engineering and it will help prepare you for a successful career transition into the private sector. It will also help you decide whether you think a career at Biffa as a Technician, Supervisor or Maintenance Manager could be right for you.
One week work experience opportunity - what's involved?
You, and a small group of armed forces leavers, will gain hands on experience for one week within an operational Biffa facility in the midlands. You will be fully supported by Biffa’s engineering team and will get to experience the following:
