UK residual waste treatment capacity: Making sense of the arguments
In 2015 there was no disputing the existence of a substantial residual waste treatment infrastructure capacity gap in the UK, projected to be in the region of 15Mtpa - the “Reality Gap”. In this report we highlighted these issues of reality in relation to the residual waste (post recycling) market, forecasting the way we think the treatment capacity gap will change, the end result and offering solutions of how we deal with the remaining balance.
